When President Obama was first choosing his Secretary of Health and Human Services, I couldn't imagine a better candidate than Governor Dean. I understood at the time that this was probably a pipe dream, despite the fact that Dean's 50-state strategy, as head of the DNC, arguably won President Obama the 2008 election.
I mean, he took Indiana for goodness sake!
So now that Kathleen Sebelius has announced her resignation, I'm back pushing for the Kos community to let their voices be heard. At the very least, a push for Doctor Dean is a good reminder that Progressives aren't going away anytime soon.
